Painterly is such a fantastic base and definitely a good place to start for Paint Pots! A few other favourites: Groundwork - As another user mentioned, it's a lovely base and a really quick, simple one for a defined eye without looking like you've tried too hard. Let's Skate - I think this is my absolute favourite. It's a light cream colour leaning slightly pink, with tiny gold and pink glitter particles. The base is a little chalky at first but once it's blended out the shimmer more than makes up for it.
Looks lovely with just a medium matte brown through the crease for definition and lots of mascara (aka my favourite easy summer eye look). You need to see it in sunlight to really appreciate it! Bare Study - Another light creamy colour, this time with a very fine shimmer and leaning more yellowy. Lovely on its own, could be worn the same way I like to wear Let's Skate if you're not a glittery person!
Constructivist - Medium-dark shimmery brown. Leans slightly red/orangey so amazing if you have blue eyes. Makes a lovely smokey eye on its own just buffed all over the lid and up into the crease then blended under the eye.
