Guys below are a few SMC error im facing, Already done a PRAM, SMC reset, disk utility verified and permission repaired, rebuilding index, font book check but problem still persist. This thread shows why chasing console messages when you don't have any issues leads to problems and misunderstandings. I will state once again that not everything in the Console is a problem.
I am seeing the same problem. It looks like they have a module with a memory leak. If you pull up the Memory Details form from the Preferences screen you can see the Current Memory value grow until it consumes all available memory. Browsers to function when the Avast shields are turned on. Go here for instructions and videos appropriate for your browser to set up the proper configurations.(since the Avast internet shields are in effect acting as proxies between your system and the web.).
Many items are just notifications developers leave in there for potential troubleshooting in the future for themselves. If done right, developers should be assigning severities to messages.
Use Console's filtering to only see messages of 'Level' greater than 'Error' and I'd wager your Console logs will look pretty sparse if not actually empty. Should you browse your Console logs if you're having a problem? Should you browse your Console logs if you're not having issues?
Only if you know what to look for, IMHO.
I have run into the same issue. I'm sure I was able to do this in the past. I am running under non-privileged account and cannot copy files from a network share to my own workstation. The network share is mapped using alternate credentials.
